Harry C. Parker

Harry joined the Firm in the spring of 2009 and commenced the Vermont Law Office Study Program shortly thereafter. Taking on program applicants has been a longstanding tradition of the Firm resulting in the admission of several lawyers. After spending a year in the Firm’s real estate department in the Colchester office, Harry joined the Firm’s high volume litigation department in the South Hero office. Three years later, when the Firm consolidated its Burlington and Colchester offices and opened a new office location in Colchester, he transferred there to develop a wider range of general practice skills. Since that time, he has worked primarily in high volume civil litigation and insurance subrogation, focusing on the regulatory environment, implementing best practices, supporting the complex litigation team, and managing several high volume case portfolios. In July, 2015, Harry passed the Vermont Bar Exam and was admitted to the Vermont Bar in October, 2015.

Harry grew up in Waterbury Vermont, and graduated from the University of Vermont School of Arts and Sciences in 2009 with a Bachelor’s Degree in English. After expressing an interest in law, he was encouraged to pursue the Vermont Law Office Study Program as an alternative to law school by his father Eric Parker, a partner at the Firm.

In addition to his legal practice, Harry is the chair of the North Hero select board, and is the Past President of the Vermont Bar Foundation.

In his leisure time, Harry enjoys spending time with his family, listening to live music, outdoor sporting pursuits, and traveling. Harry lives in North Hero with his wife, Lauren, their daughter Evelyn, and Remy, their black lab.
